Patrick McEvoy: what's up with him?

As an Art Director, artist, animator and character designer, I worked in Multimedia for close to ten years. For the last three years I've been branching out into illustration, trying to focus on doing the work I like best: art that will give people the sense of wonder and adventure that made me want to draw in the first place. I've been lucky enough to have done art for some great games and books along the way, and met some really nice artists, publishers and fans.

Now, I've taken the big step of leaving the predictable world of stead employment and become a full-time freelance artist. In an amongst my other freelance work, I've started my first big project, the comic book series The Gatesville Company, with writer Marc Bryant. I hope this is just the first of many other things to come. Keep checking back and I'll keep you up to date!

I've also had the wonderful responsibility of being an Editor for Epilogue.net, home of the best Fantasy/SF/Horror art on the web. In addition, I have been writing articles for Epitime, the ezine for artists. I highly recommend both of these sites for artists and appreciators of art!
