When I was doing The Gatesville Company comic book series for Speakeasy Comics (may they rest in peace) I had the good fortune to meet Chuck Satterlee, tireless writer and promoter. When he moved his action/horror series Of Bitter Souls (with art by comics great Norm Breyfogle) to Markosia Press, he asked if I would do a pinup for them. I obliged, and you see it here. But the story didn't end there - they liked the piece so much they ended up using it for an alternate cover for the first issue of the relaunch of the series, released July 2006.
