Here's my first piece for Legend of the Five Rings, published by AEG. This is in the Drums of War expansion set; a Crane and Lion samurai lead an infantry charge side by side. I was very happy to get to work on this popular game. To date, I've done eight cards for the game, and I hope to do many more in the future.
I thought it was cool how the colors turned out in this one. Sometimes it's fun to do a picture like this - I'll lay down abastract colors in the background, then work around them and through them to bring out the figures.
