Originally intended as a cover for "Aberations" magazine (and I suppose it bears mentioning that they intentionally misspelled their name!) That publication was cancelled before this picture saw print. Too bad - it's one of my favorites!
I've been asked if I swiped the woman from Mucha - and why not, I did try to do it in his style! But no, while of course the layout and linework are influenced by Nouveau in general and Mucha specifically, the drawing is all mine, for better or worse.
